  My personal pick for the best thing i've bought on a whim in a Steam sale is Super House of Dead Ninjas, if you're a fan of platformers I cannot recommend it more highly it's great and for under $2 it's a steal :)

  To add to the list of mainstream gaming titles Dragon's Dogma - Dark Arisen has a fantastic PC port and includes all of the DLC/Expansion released for the console versions. Another highly recommended title.

    I do,its basically adult minecraft with space physics, like Kerbal it keeps getting better. (I already own all the games on the list).

  Torchlight and torchlight 2 were brilliant… they are developed by the same team who developed Diablo 1 and 2…so the original Diablo members, and you can feel how the torchlight series has diabloish touch through out. Much better than release diablo 3.

  Kingdom of Amular is a nice grindy game. It will feel like a MMO..in single player… because it had plans to become a MMO. Having said that..the skills and spells are beautiful and there's SHIT ton of content to keep you busy.

  Saints Row 4. (profanity) Yeah!!

  Witcher 2. Brilliant game!

  Pirate Simulator - nice game….but play it as…pirate simulator and not assassins creed and you'll have a lot of fun.

  Borderlands 2: Shit ton of content! Co-op is even more fun.

    Kingdoms of Amular is a highly under-rated game imho, I wish it was an MMO, that would be great!

  I'm picking up Grandia 2 for 9.99. It's a port of the Dreamcast JPRG.

  Though I own it, Torchlight 2 is absolutely worth the price. It's a great game.
