  I took up the Black Angus offer and was not impressed with the service. They delivered one day late and didn't send me any communication until I asked them about it. The re-delivery was schedule for the afternoon but the parcel came in the morning and was left in the foyer as I wasn't home to receive it. The meat were in vacuum seal bags but stored in a cardboard box with no ice packs. By the time I got home in the afternoon, the meat were about to get to room temperature.

    weird - I had the opposite experience

    I asked them if they could deliver before the weekend (i.e. Friday) after placing my order on the Wednesday, and it arrived when they said it would (in the afternoon). Communication was great all the way through the process.

    All the items were vacuum sealed, and in a foam box with ice packs

    Only downside was that weather took a turn for the worse over the weekend so wasn't able to have the BBQ that I planned … In the meantime, we were able to have the bacon, and for me it's very good (way better than what you can buy from the supermarket), and on equal to other 'direct from farmer' bacon.

      But were you posting your concerns on the previous thread, when the rep was paying attention. Funny how much better the service is when you get the rep's attention in a public forum.

  I thought the service and product were superb. I live in rural NSW, order was delivered overnight in polystyrene box ice packed fully so nice and cold for when I got home. Communication great received email telling me approx delivery time and email letting me know it had been shipped. Had the scotch fillets last night and they were to die for. Very impressed
