About to build a new PC, and would rather use Windows 7 Ultimate for old device compatibility reasons. Anyone know where I can source it?
Sourcing Windows 7

Buy the key here for $26 and use it with Microsoft's download portal.
You can use the ISO to USB tool from here.Edit: Sorry I just noticed my suggestion is Pro rather than Ultimate.
Thanks - Pro will probably do if I can't find Ultimate at a reasonable price.
Any specific reason you want to use Ultimate over Professional?
Windows 10 Pro is comparable to Windows 7 Pro and Ultimate.
Sooner down the road you're going to have to go with Windows 10 anyway, when you upgrade your hardware and peripherals, Windows 7 drivers will become harder to find, and updates become lesser. And you'll be missing a lot of essential features and security patches.
Eg Secure Boot Feature will actually disallow Windows 7 from booting.
Noted. Mind you, the play-asia.com price for 7 is unbeatable, and allows free upgrade to 10.
Yes, I know, I was giving that same piece of advice here.
Buy Win 7 Pro for $25US dollar = this is equivalent of having Win 10 Pro for that price.
Thanks for the heads-up - the key worked fine. Only thing was, the key supplied wouldn't let me download from Microsoft's download portal. Good thing I already had an ISO.
I had a look at the playasia page.
the windows 8.1 key is a dollar more and they provide a link for ISO download.Thank you!
I just got the key from Play-asia and made the bootable usb straight from Microsoft Here.$25 USD for Windows 10 pro , , , has this been posted as a deal?
yep, I did similar using DVD's, one for 8.1pro and another for free upgrade to 10pro. went thru all that yesterday after buying the key mid week.
