Cashrewards and AliExpress

Hello everyone,

Wanting to buy a phone I found on AliExpress (a different Xiaomi than the ones posted recently), I logged into Cashrewards and clicked the referral link to Aliexpress. That 7.3% cashback is worthwhile!

To my surprise, after following that referral link, AliExpress looks different on my end. I can no longer search for mobile phones at all. If I type the exact title of the Xiaomi I want, all I get is cases. I suspect AliExpress isn't showing these to avoid paying referral money… After logging out and clearing cookies, everything gets back to normal.

Does this happen to anyone? I haven't been able to order. I was suspecting Citibank at first, but now I feel like its simply Ali making the transaction fail.

Contacted Ali support, they said they'd look into it. Sent a message to Cashrewards waiting to hear back. What does everyone else think?

    Just tried on a couple of devices and all good for me.

    Edit: I take that back. It's redirecting to best.aliexpress.com/blahblahblah rather than aliexpress.com

    Noticeable difference is the links under the search bar.

    Even if I click the phones tab, it now suggests accessories and doesn't even have the option to browse phones at all!

    What I did were log on, add the mobile to cart, close browser and go through CR for check out.

    I noticed this as well.

    The easiest way I have found is to search for the item number.

    I am having the same problem, lots of cases, no phones.

    Can someone please screen shot and show me where the item number is on any advert on Aliexpress?

      It's in the URL, last digits.

    Anyone having problems getting cashrewards to track aliexpress purchases?

    I've made about a dozen or more purchases in the last 14 days and only one item has received CR Confirmation.

    I'm having absolutely no difficulties with any other cashreward partners. Just aliexpress.

    I'm redirected from CR without issue, and the purchase is made without issue, however, then I receive NO TRACKING email from CR even after a week.

    I'VE used multiple browsers, only had one tab open, cleared cache before starting, tried on iPad, laptop, desktop.

    Any suggestions?

      Edit: how long after an item is flagged as shipped with Ali does it usually take for the transaction to be registered with CR?

      I'm not suggesting this is an issue with CR, I'm just curious incase there is something I'm doing wrong!
