Weekly Game-Bundlers (GOG/Steam) - Big Platformer Bundle - 6 Games (Inc. Out There Somewhere) $2.78 AUD (92% off) + More

100

What the hell is a Game-Bundler? No idea, but hey, just trying to stay on theme. These platformers are pretty fun though and good value at about 46 cents each.

They're not on special individually, so the bundle is the way to go. In the table below are the gameplay vids and a reason why you would bother playing them (besides 46 cents of awesomeness!) :)

In case you didn't get enough RPG goodness last week from GOG and you want to splurge, here's the Hasbro bundle for $21.13 AUD. It includes Planescape Torment, which if you haven't played it, is the sort of game that will stay with you for ever (if you're into story-driven RPGs). If you do get it, make sure you get the mods too. Playing in widescreen makes all the difference :)

Game Non-bundle Price (USD) Rating Why would I bother? Gameplay
BEEP $1.99 86% Because you suffer from road rage By toutagamon
Out There Somewhere $1.99 93% Because you miss Portal By Jesse Cox and Josh Mattingly
Airscape - The Fall of Gravity $9.99 90% Because throwing up while gaming is cool By Giant Bomb
Camera Obscura $1.99 73% Because you love taking screenshots By tr1ppa
Rolling Sun $4.99 77% Because you love playing with balls By T6Games
Spaceport Hope $4.99 72% Because you live a 16bit life By Marco Nova

Hopefully I'll be back later in the week with the best cheap-arse games in the Steam Sale.

Oh, and I'm setting up to start creating some of my own gameplay vids too :)

Enjoy :)

  • Cheers, bought!

  • cool I was going to buy this as a already owned a couple of games in the bundle, so it dropped my buy it now price to $1.60 or so.. but I checked each game and some of them have been in bundles before - so turns out I already had steam keys for some of them from groupees and indie gala bundles - but I still bought the missing games - Airscape was the main incentive, it looks a lot of fun and the graphics are very cute - I love the octopus :)

  • Thanks OP. Said what the hell, could be good to relieve boredom and help fuel procrastination when I should be doing other things, and bought it.

  • there's also a Physics Bundle for $2.20 USD - http://store.steampowered.com/bundle/395/

Rolling Sun is also in this bundle, so if you bought the above bundle, then it will only cost you $0.80 or so (bugger, no I already own Gun Rocket.. so that has made the price lower for me.)

why would you want it? Gravilon looks to be an interesting physics game similar to Thomas Was Alone and has an awesomely relaxing soundtrack

    • It is $1.20 if you only own Rolling Sun

      • thanks for that! actually there are lots of interlinked bundles.. there's an art appreciation bundle, JRPG bundle and around half a dozen others I can't recall off the top of my head, but with some careful price analysis you can generally buy one bundle with a few more games in it for cheaper than a different bundle with the same crossover games. so potentially worthwhile spending a few minutes if these casual game interest you. I got down to God Game: Wind of Athena and Ratventure (a World of Goo lookalike) being the only games I didn't buy - even though the cheapest bundle including both of them was about $3 USD - because Ratventure has been on sale by itself previously for $0.21 or something silly like that… so thought I'd wait and see if it is on sale again.. in which case I'll probably buy a second copy to gift to my kid.

  • Bought the bundle.. Thanks a lot..Some good looking games in there.. I had a couple already Only cost 1.76.. Keep up the great work..

  • how do you pay your "your price"? when i add to cart, it gives me the full bundle (including games i already have) at the full bundle price. when i go through the process, it even says that i won't get a copy of the games i already have, but still charges me full price.

at what point is the "your price" price applied? when you place it in your cart, or during payment?

    • somehow it worked today…weird.
