  This is a bargain?
  Digital stuff like this is much cheaper if you outsource to India or something.
  Last logo I got was $30.

      Works kinda like eBay, just put your request up, be as specific as you want and even name your max price, and companies and freelancers will bid on it. Then you can check out each bidders reviews from other clients, examples of previous works, and pick a winner.

      Certainly a good way to get a bargain. Most of the really cheap bids will be from freelancers, but they still do excellent work, and really cater to your needs, because they want a good review, which will get them more business.

    As with most things, if you're willing to put in enough time do research and find reputable companies offshore then you will most often find something cheaper. $30 is insane though and to be honest I'd be real curious to see the quality that they produce. It's amazing how cheap work can be in India.

    With Boggleworks, we charge very good prices - better than most of our local competitors. And for your general public, it is often difficult to spend the time (and the know how) to find these outsourced services. For them, we offer great value and ensure quality, customer service as well as a great product.

      Oh it is certainly a good local price.
      Sadly for local business though, the internet is international, and digital services can so easily be procured from India, Philippines, etc.
      Hell even retail goods - pretty much every video game I own is from OzBargain showing me deals from the UK.

  Two of the advantages with purchasing from Boggleworks is that we have a whole team of talented designers working on each one of our projects. Sometimes going with one particular designer may save you money, but you won't get the variety and diversity that we offer.

  Also you'll find that communicating with offshore businesses / services can be a real pain due to the time delay as well as the language barrier (especially describing a logo).
