So I got the Jack + Stand deal from SCA, Hydraulic Jack with limit of 1.2T and a pair of stand with 1.2 Each(?)
Just planning to lift the front, would it be safe?
thanks!

Jack - back half easy, front half 'probably OK'. car is probably 1000kg front/700kg back weight distribution.
Stands - OK if they are rated at 1.2T each
just DO NOT GET UNDER CAR WHEN ON JACK ALONE.
take wheel off and slide it under car on it's side straight away.
Use jack stands and wheel chocks. Don't be an undiscovered smashed potato in your garage/driveway by going under your car without jack stands.
was replacing rotors, but all done, so the stands was enough :)
Never work on cars without jack stands and wheel chocks. However small the work is or however pro/experience you are. Never jack up the car, or work on a car on soft ground. Putting a solid base on top of soft ground does not count. Always work on solid, concreted, level area. Always use jack stands and hydraulic jacks rated for your car (in terms of height and weight).

And you also better ensure that the rear wheels don't start rolling too. Hand brake isn't good enough
I am very curious why someone would neg your advice. Have a + vote.
Cheers
All done, I had to replace Rotors, so Hand brake off :D but theres tyre guards
uhh.. probably not. if you're asking the question then wouldn't try it.
