What exactly do you do with the Spider-Man sticky thing..
Not much - https://youtu.be/CIyg83bQga4?t=194
These things are a pain to build, especially the "X Wing". Took me a few hours to build due to curved metals.
Luckily I just read this, totally didn't realise you had to make them yourself. Shame, as they do look pretty cool.
They are pretty cool if you're bored and have nothing to do.
Haha yeah that's true, I tried googling to see how many pieces they actually came in, but couldn't find anything. Ended up ordering them from eBay with the link that Miss B put up, so guess I'll see how it goes!
@RichardL: Cheers for that.. seems there are a fair few parts. But ah well, could be a fun thing to do on a rainy weekend!
They won't be the real Metal Earth ones, but the instructions for each of these should give a good idea of what it will be like to build each one.

Edit: Actually I looked at some of the ones I have done and they look almost identical. I haven't done any Star Wars.
They're identical, just the branding on the packaging isn't 'official'.
@Miss B: Cheers for the link, it'll come in handy!
Thanks for this input, sounds like a challenge!
It more of a test of patience.
Still have the metal earth thing unconstructed that came with the xbox one halo console! Haven't been game to try it lol

Thanks, hadn't seen that one. Might cave and get the Star Wars set after all.
Anyone recommend tools to cut, bend and fold these as I seem to put extra creases when I use scissors and my wire cutters dont go through or if the do the bend the tabs.
I bought this There's probably cheaper/better out there though. I still prefer $2 pliers I got from the Philippines off ebay, but needed a cutting tool. Stanley knife might work.
Found this: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/371610498395?_trksid=p2060353.m14…
I use this: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/381577237693?_trksid=p2057872.m27…
TBH, you only really actually need the 450 tool, which is much cheaper than the whole kit.
Are these lifesize? Might order an AT-AT if so.
Haha definitely not. They'd likely fit into a box 6x6x6cm in size once completed.
I have not played with these 3D metal models.
Are they really hard to build?
Quite hard, yes. You will definitely want good lighting. TBH, I would recommend the use of this: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/361575392571?_trksid=p2060353.m14…
You absolutely need a pair of very fine but not flexible needle nose pliers - some people have had good effect with tweezers but I find they're too flimsy. There is a discussion above on good tools to use.
