Curious what the community says about Cygnett vs Xiaomi. I need a couple of chargers and have been on the fence on buying one.
The form factor of the cygnett ones look very similar to the romoss models that have been floating around.

Any chance you can post the max width that mount will hold? Can't see any specs on the site.
The max width for this device is 87mm which is slightly wider than the iPhone 6s Plus.
I have their Dashview Universal II and it's is so bloody good. Had it for about 18 months and it's still sitting on the windscreen and holds my GS5 with no problems. Has never come off.
I drive for 45 minutes each way daily on bumpy country back roads and 3 hours each way on weekends to my other house and the phone never moves in the mount. I use my phone as a gps and speedometer.The Maxi listed here looks practically the same. I'm taking a punt and grabbing one for the second car as the original one I have was discontinued and at 12 bucks shipped, why not.

I bought the Cygnett DashView Universal II Car Mount from a retailer less than a year ago. It felt sturdy but did not last the distance.
After about 6 months the button to release grip arms stopped working, then over summer the suction cup literally melted and dripped down the windscreen. That was a nasty mess to clean up.

@ Jesmond - I can second that . Had an issue with a iPad Air 2 case (TEKSHELL SLIMLINE) that was advertised as including wake / sleep function but does not . Logged this via the website weeks ago and have not heard anything .
+2. Customer Service needs attention.
Contacted them about a promo a few months back. Code didn't work. Wanted to place a big order for work. Never received a reply so went with competitor.
Having said that I do have their small charger/flashlight and think it's great. Only customer service lets them down.

Hi Dingo23 - this order was flagged as fraudulent due to a web proxy issue and automatically refunded.
??? This does not make any sense to me and sounds suspicious. I don't use a web proxy, VPN or other trickery and my PC is free from malware. My paypal is secured with two factor authentication (which is what I used to pay) and I've not had any trouble with other orders that I've placed in the last week (one of which was today).

Cheers bought a car mount
I've ordered a couple of the same iphone case and only one was sent, no reply to my emails they only answer phones after multiple attempts and when they do they tell me I've just missed the person who could help me! anyway a second package has arrived shortly to find a completely different type and color second hand case chucked in a broken seal box missing the screen protector and wiper cloth, seems like he thought of exchanging the one in his pocket with mine! this isn't only bad customer service, this is fraud, a Paypal case is opened and in progress
