I'm looking for a dual active sim phone and don't believe there are currently out?
I have seen a whole bunch of phones that are dual sim but the secondary sim only has 2G (like my current Moto X Play)
I'd like 4G and minimum 3G on the secondary not for data but for calls and SMS. I took my Moto X Play to Japan recently and got a data sim for the primary slot and put my Optus SIM in the secondary but it didn't work as they don't have a 2G network, which is the way we are headed as well. Hence the need for a dual active or dual with secondary at 3G or higher.
Does anyone know of any? FYI, there are plenty of dual 4G phones but the secondary typically goes to 2G (like my phone)

Mi5 looks very good but a bit $$$, not a big fan of the phablets though so would pass on the LeMax. Thanks for the insight though!
It's a Flagship device, so comparably cheap, but I agree that it's far too much to spend on an import with incomplete network support.
OnePlus 3 also meet your need.
Thanks for that but that also is a bit pricey for me. I was thinking no more than $300.
I think i may have to wait a while for there to be more options in the market and the price comes down…

Good find! I'll definitely look at that one. I have a Moto X Play at the moment which is a great phone and dual sim but unfortunately only 2G on the standby sim.
Anything with Snapdragon 820 and dual SIM slots.. Xiaomi Mi5 and LeEco LeMax Pro are the only 2 I'm aware of.
otherwise it doesn't currently exist.
