I picked this up from Bunnings when it was on sale for $149. Can confirm this lawn mower runs and cuts well
I got the same deal from Bunnings.
Was mowing the lawn with it yesterday and was thinking "I would get another one of these in 2yrs if this one is no longer working".
These things are so easy to start, even my not yet teenager son is able to start it…. he has no excuse now :)
Re comment(s) on fabric catcher… first time I have had one of these, has not been so bad.
Biggest issue was going over a section of yard that was dry/dusty - copped a face full of dust :)
Mowed around that until grass has grown back over.

Why does it matter?
They may have multiple branches.
They may have tendered for a large contract and had to supply multiple mowers.
They may have purchased a bulk lot of demo mowers or ones that had damaged boxes from Victa.
Anyone of a dozen other reasons…..
Because it seems unlikely they have this many demo models that they can state have only been used for 10 minutes. Makes me wonder if possible repaired returns/change of mind, or something other than demo units.

Sheesh why is it unlikely that they have more then ten units with under ten minutes runtime. I gave examples of why they could have these so what exactly is your problem with the deal?
Simple decision for you, pay double for a brand new one in the box.
Your saying could be damaged boxes? That doesn't sound like a demo model to me.
So your definition of a demonstrator car is that it has been used as a demonstrator and not just registered to meet a quota.
Why would a manufacturer selling stock cheaply for whatever reason to be sold as demonstrators be act different to other industries?
I guess you would demand one that has been used as a demonstrator and not accept the brand new one on offer.

Who knows! They have good feedback rating, but their responses to neutral feedback isn't very professional (quite rude), and make me wonder how well you may be treated should you have problems.
I'm thinking 'demo' = old stock.
Probably, old brand new stock from out of the back of the warehouse perhaps.

Exactly.briggs mower, top of the range built motors … $150 with warranty. I jumped at it!!. Whocares where they sourced them, there brand new units under warranty.
A lot better than them, $300/400 bunnings/masters chinese junk mowers.
They must of had a lot of ex demo stock since it's showing as more than 10 available?. I don't think that the shop was full of these on display?.
I'm guessing that some of these may be brand new from out the back never been on display that they just want to sell off. Bargain!.
