I know its on it way out (10 years is a great run), and they are not making it anymore - however I guess if you have a large collection of 360 games (which are not backwards compatible) I thought it was worth a buy. JB have it for $279.
Plex, Netflix, Twitch, youtube etc. apps run on this thing as well don't forget.

good point, my thoughts were that it may be handy to have one spare if you have a large collection…until they kill the live service for the 360 that is. Hopefully won't happen for a good couple of years.
I can't see that happening for a loooong time given they are very much pushing backwards compatibility and they can just scale the infrastructure if the user base dips off. That and cutting off the 360 from Live sends an incredibly bad message when MS is trying to encourage people to buy into digital distribution.
I'm sure more games will lose online servers and the like, but I can't see the entire Live service disappearing too quick. The original Xbox was a different matter due to a much smaller install base and digital distribution not really being common back then.

I have a modded xbox 360 that can play games off HDD or Regular discs, 2x controls and have tried to sell it for 1 year for 150-$200 but had no takers.
I'm guessing with the forever falling prices it will end up with my Modded Wii in a cupboard collecting dust. (Wii i had modded, played 3 times then moved house and never took out of the box again due to room size)
Sold mine long time ago xkey modded, I included 1tb hdd full of games. Also kinect. All for 220 bucks. Just sell cheap. Better than nothing
$150 is as low as i'll go, its a dvd player to me if it doesn't sell, then in 30 years time its a collectors item for hipster kids

I would never sell unless I had another xbox360 to play the games. The money is nothing and there are too many good games on the platform that will never be replicated.
If you're anything like me, even if you think you are sick of the games you will eventually want to play them again (even if it is years in the future).

Many people prefer to use xbox games from a HDD due to kids scratching discs etc.. Believe me there is a BIG market for xbox with xkey mods.
Room fits a physical Wii you tool, just not enough room to play things like Wii fit or tennis within the room due to lack of space between the couch, coffee table and TV.
what about xbox live? isn't there a risk of console being banned?

I believe some mods do get people banned but my mod from Ozmods has worked without issue

For your personal peace of mind, I've had numerous offers to purchase it since putting it up for sale but due to the age and newer consoles some people dont want to pay what I want for it. As mentioned I won't go below $150 as its worth it for a dvd player, dlna player or game machine to me.

Thats good, if you own a cheap ass table that can be moved around with ease, our table however is a glass topped carved wooden coffee table with draws and iron legs, just over ~120kg
and our entertainment room has nowhere to move it to.
