  • They aren't ADR approved

  • LEDs might throw error codes as their current draw and resistance is a lot lower than filament globes.

  • These don't look like they'd be very bright at all. Certainly not a headlight replacement bulb brightness

Indeed, it lists brake lights, reversing lights, interior ceiling lights, or custom made torches as intended applications.

      • Agree. Who here can use a H4 bulb for brake or interior light? Those are normally P21 or W5W form factor.

Also those small smd are just waste of time if used for headlights.

  • same price to buy 2 as it is to buy 3

This is the poxiest lamp ever. 3W and a form factor that cannot be used anywhere.

Who cares how long lamp would last… as if lamp life is an issue anyway.

Might be a good replacement for the candles in my Model T

      Illegal, unreliable, pointless, dangerous, stupid….

  • $5 off LED H4 car globes. Were $9.95.

Hardly a deal when it's illegal, unsafe, stupid and pointless!

If you want a cheap lighting upgrade buy some Osram Nightbreakers.

    • they are not saying they are headlight replacements though.

      • Posted in the Automtoive section, Jaycar title is "Automotive H4", H4 connections and bulbs are solely found in the automotive industry.

Proper legal (and safe) H4 LED headlight "bulbs" cost around $400 a pair.

      • Where else do you find a H4 socket bulb socket? Certainly I've seen it none other than headlight sockets only. All other automotive globe sockets are different…

  • No low beam cut off, not legal.
