Calling help from headphone experts!!

I'm looking all over the internet for an on-ear or over-ear headphones with the following conditions:

  • Wireless
  • Noise cancellation
  • Less than $200
  • Suitable for gym
  • decent sound quality / bass

Any recommendations??? Not really interested in earphones btw. I was thinking of getting beats but apparently they seem really overpriced. Please help!!

  • Check out Plantronics Backbeat Fit. I have used these and am pretty satisfied with them. They manage to stay in my air when I'm running etc.

they're no good if they're in the air while running.

        Autocorrect fail…

    • Don't think he's looking for in ear? But i second your motion. I adore my BBFit.

  • Monster iSport Freedom. RRP is 329 but Catch of the Day have had them for 130 at times, and eBay stores are around 200

  • Backbeat fit.
Not noise cancelling but why need it for gym? You better of still be able to hear when people tell you something is falling above you head for example.

And for long exercise I don't want something stuck deep blocking my ear canal for the whole period. Backbeat fit is NOT!

still be able to hear when people tell you something is falling above you head

If something is falling above their head already I don't think being able to hear a warning will do anything though …

Gyms can be loud. Whether it's the sound of the treadmill, their shitty music playing on the sound system or the guy grunting like Sharapova next to you, noise cancelling can definitely be nice.

  • Maybe have a look at some of the jaybirds that have been advertised on here I think Amazon is the retailer.

You're really barking up the wrong tree, go to head-fi and all your questions will have been answered already, I wouldn't be surprised if there are a lot of decent Chinese companys producing some pretty sweet models in your price range.

  • Thanks guys for the suggestions! Gonna have a look at all of them :)
