Well there's big red text stating: "This unit comes with the keyboad dock as pictured but does not include the stylus pen" (copied & pasted inc. typo!) so I'd imagine so.
Im going to get my eyes checked! Thanks.
used or refurbished?!
Same same.
Title says used, category is refurbished.
It was used, then the store refurbished it (probably remove dust)
if that's the case no thanks, the unit is already 3+ years old, ebay sells less for used
@Balls: I just guess so. It's better to ask store rep but I doubt it was refurbished by Samsung.
not a bargain for a used unit ?
or manufacturer refurbished?
Had one of these when they first came out from major retailer, had a few issues; keyboard always failed to stay connected to the unit despite being keyboard unit replaced twice, had to have the battery and micro SD slot replaced after 6 months, screen stopped working after warranty ran out. But that's just computers amirite?!
Mine's still going fairly strong. The keyboard connection is a little sensitive sometimes (was a design weakness I think) but not too bad.
All of our refurbished equipment come from corporate environments where their lease has expired. They are then wiped and reloaded with their original operating system and sold online. We are a reputable refurbished equipment specialist and have been in business for over 13 years.
has the battery been replaced? after 3y of use fair to assume it wont last long.
Waiting for rep to reply hope they don't ignoring… I suspect answer is no.
The unit comes with original battery - each battery is tested to last a minimum of an hour, some lasting more than the minimum requirement.
Hmm…my main concern is the battery life as it's been used for 2+ years
Assuming the original battery is of a decent quality (which i'm sure it would be) you should see at least another 1-2 years of close-to-original-spec stamina. I work with dozens of new & old HP Notebooks on a daily basis and noticed new batteries start to drop-off after 4-5 years… even 5-6+ year old machines can still offer around 50% of their original stamina. Pretty impressive but these are 'Business Grade' Notebooks so the 'Domestic Grade' stuff might be a different story.
I still have mine that I bought brand new. Just a note to everyone - the keyboard connectors on this 2-in-1 is really dodgy and a move of the tablet screen will at times disconnect it from the keyboard and whatever other USB devices hooked onto it. Would not recommend using it on your lap with the keyboard as it is very flimsy and frustrating whenever you move it out of connection. It is a decent device in specs (esp with the 256GB SSD in this deal).
any way to upgrade the ram to 8gb?
Unfortunately no, 4's as much as you can RAM this one… :( Just checked that out myself.
Just wanted to say, I got this particular bargain, & have had it for just under a week. So far, I'm in love! <3
Does it ship with the keyboard dock as stated in the description?
