Anyone know of some decent over-ear headphones that are <$100 and wired? Don't need a headset, just the headphones. Also only 1 cable - not one per side.
Decent over-Ear Headphones, under $100? Wired, No Mic

Superlux. Either the HD 668 evo or hd 681. I've found at this price point you compromise on something, and with the superlux it's comfort. You will not find a better sounding set, with good soundstage, but they do have pressure points which can annoy after a few hours of use. Still not a deal breaker for me because they aren't bad and sound better than headphones I've paid $200+ for.
A bit hard at that price point, anything sennheiser or maybe sony would be okay sound wise.
Also there is the usage and other options; are you going outside with these headphones, do you prefer comfort over sound accuracy, bass etc.
For this price brand new I would probably go Kingston HyperX Cloud, just under $100 if you shop around, don't get the "core" series as these are cheaper, I hear they are smaller too and I don't think they come with additional velour earpads. It has a "detachable mic" so you can just shove that in your desk drawer if you don't want to use it
Also ebay is a good source for headphones, just research what you find interesting and pay by paypal so you get the "free shipping returns" if you get something bad
