I have a problem on my driveway as its a bit too high and scratches my lower bumper as times if I'm not careful. Does anyway know where to get the steel plates to put on the driveways at a cheap price?

Not sure it will do you any good. It is an old bloke who is a boilermaker by trade and takes cash. Its not like he can ship them to you.
What you want is something you can really only procure in person.
Yellow Pages, businesses with names including words like metal fabrication and engineering. Or take a look around the local industrial park for a sign that says engineering, metalwork and welding.

In the meantime is it possible to enter/exit on an angle? Sometimes gives just enough clearance to miss the scrape.

They will cut them to measure. I haven't had that exact issue, but a 75cm x 75cm 1/4in think piece of steel I used for a manhole cover was $70, so I would expect less than that.
