Hi guys, can anyone recommend a pre-purchase building and/or pest inspector in Perth?
Hoping to find an affordable place to move into that hopefully won't fall in on me…

I have been told building inspectors will make stuff up or make a fuss out of something minor. People don't want to pay someone $500 to say they can't find anything.
This was the opposite would not comment on obvious defects - just cut and pasting for him!
Hi there, we did ours with StrucTerre consulting engineers in Balcatta before we bought the house. Cost about $600 in all.
Not sure how good they are compared to the other companies as this is the first and only one we did but we got back a report 16 pages long (granted only about half were useful), stating the defects they found like the floor joinings, minor roof problems and balcony beams sagging slightly.
I once got a building report. Completely useless. Basically a cut and paste report with photos added. I asked about 10 question beforehand I really wanted to know about - he wouldn't give me a straight answer on any, I think because he didn't want to be responsible for content. So I paid $500 for him to spend 15 minutes take a few pictures, and for him to say he wouldn't tell me anything. Complete scam, and why he is in an expensive house with expensive car and expensive boat.
