Looks to be a discount of around $3k with the deal.

Here is the same car with 3500kms on the clock for $21k driveaway if you want to save even more money and buy 2015 plated:

    do you really want cvt?

    ever driven one?

Maybe OP can't drive a manual car?

CVT's are noisy and annoying to use if you haven't used one before. Haven driven a Corolla and Lancer (as rentals) I can never imagine myself buying a car with a CVT when you've driven a conventional or even a dual clutch tranny.

        • Yep, I agree. But what I was saying was since there are only two transmission variants, the OP doesn't have much choice if they can't drive manual.

CVT ? I am no expert, and I guess my ZR hatch is CVT too, but I just drive it like a normal Auto. Not noisy/fiddly, and lots of power.

I guessed they liked my pm

  • wished the corollas looked better. good car though

  • I bought a ZR hatch a few months ago. After having a 6cyl Auto.that was still in good running condition. After a couple of days to adjust, I am very happy with the power, feel etc. Seems like a quality car, but only time will tell.

Can't understand people's infatuation with the Corolla in this country. The engine has remained almost identical for the past 13 years. The interior is very fiddly with harsh plastics and the CVT is noisy. The Corolla would barely represent good value at $19,990 drive away given the lack of R&D poured into it.

You can easily find a Ford Focus Trend with low kms on the clock for the same price, or a brand new for $1000 more. You get more features, a better engine, a conventional auto, sharp handling and dynamics which makes the car much more fun to drive than a Corolla.

OP, please look beyond a Corolla. There are much better options out there for the amount money you are willing to spend.

Not a Ford salesman, just someone informed.

    • I m looking at hatchback cars, will b checking Skoda Fabia, Suzuki Swift, Hyundai i30, Honda jazz or civic.

Reason why I picked corolla as service is cheaper and some of my friends got one ( happy buyers).

About ford, haven't though much but will consider now.

I'd take a look at hyundai i30 active x. The extra amount of after services is huge. 5 years warranty, 12 mth service interval, capped for life serving and 10 years road side. roughly same price as Ascent sports.
I preferred how the corolla handled and went with that.
