I'm leaning towards the TCL brand
What is causing your lean?
Agree - TCL gets a good wrap on Amazon. Ended up gong with this one
Also looked at that, but the 50E5900 is so much cheaper for that lack of 5“
Hisense are where Samsung and LG were a decade ago. On the cusp of becoming a top tier brand. From what I've read their ULED models give the OLED TV's a run for their money.
Less than $400 for equivalent 4K TV from Kmart or bigw.
I bought a Hisense UHD 65 last 20% off for 1329. All good, no issues with it and the missus even likes it… I set up the picture using settings found online and it looks perfect… Direct access to Netflix and Youtube from the remote, have kept the whole family happy… so in short cannot complain about the brand, all good for 3 months so far…
Which model?
65k321uw
The 58" from HarveyNorman looks to be a better buy than the 55". $995 currently.
Hisense website only shows

The HN model is http://www.harveynorman.com.au/hisense-58-4k-ultra-hd-led-lc…
58K322UW
Slightly different Model numbers.
Wondering how the sound on these are, had a play with one in store when just browsing today. Hard to get a good judgement on them due to the general background noise. Have heard a few cheaper tvs have a rather tinny sound and require a soundbar to get a decent sound
I am seriously tempted to buy one of these to replace my 8 year old Samsung. I have been happy with the Sammy will i be as happy with a Hisense?
Whats the deal with Hisense? Any good? I will be using it mostly for connecting laptop to do work on.
