Ok, fair call. It does say 8:48 GMT (which is 6:48pm here). Masters were advertising on Friday afternoon. Normally it does take Bunnings a couple of hrs to advertise their Friday night special. Who knows. Still a bargain for a 2 stroke blower :)

When I was in Bunnings on Wednesday these were not $65.
It's true. I look at blowers because a few months ago I bought a Homelite for $65. It works fine but I once had a bigger after shave bottle than the fuel tank. I would have preferred this Ozito deal.

I recall they had an inline electric fan that did similar, maybe added a massive 2 to 3 psi more but results did show low down torque improvement.
FYI. Apparently the only store with stock in NSW is the Mittagong store.

Probably the main use is for grass clippings, especially after edging the paths. And cleaning up paved areas quickly.
The hardest part is picking them up.

OK, so I've relocated the leaves to a more desirable corner of the earth.
We have trees that drop small round seeds and sticks continuously. This creates a significant slip hazard, and they look unsightly. They are dropped on the road, the gutter, the footpath, our paths and our paving - takes hours (literally) to rake, sweep and collect them.
So I edge the lawn then and mow to collect as much as possible into the catcher. A run around with the blower pushes the ligh stuff onto the lawn (as mulch) and blows all the remaining heavy vegetation into piles.
I then run around with the barrow, a rake, a broom and a shovel. With these tools I collect all the piles of sticks etc, and then dump the whole lot (together with the mower catcher contents) in the compost pile.
OK leaves. When the wind tries to blow you back this afternoon just stay put, alright?!
Well, durr. But the leaves actually come from above, falling from the trees. It would be great if the wind blew them away, but alas it just doesn't happen.
This product is really bad, I had one and I used it 3 times in 2 years. Then it stopped working.
Bunnings wernt interested in warranty. Phones Ozito and they basically told me bad luck.Never will buy an Ozito product again.

Yep, sounds like it was left with fuel in it.
With 2-strokes you have to drain the 2-stroke after every use. Then run it dry (restart, and run until it stalls) so there is no oil left in the carby.
Also extremely important with garden equipment to not use E10 fuel, as the alcohol actually eats away the fuel lines, etc.
Those 2 simple tricks will mean a long reliable life for most 2-stroke engines.

Well, of course. After 2 YEARS you don't have any warranty, simply because the device is warranted for 12 months.
Anyway, no need to worry… if you only used it 3 times in 2 years, your average is once per year which means it's hardly important. If you want it running then go and get it serviced at the local mover shop, or buy a new one. Or hire one for your annual blowing activity.
I have been trying to figure out what these blowers are used for. It seems to me it only blows the rubbish from one place to somewhere else.
Obviously you never mow any lawns…it is a total pain in the a$$ having to sweep the stray grass at the end. It takes almost as long as mowing the lawn. A blower does the job in seconds.

It's about as moronic as posting "Been trying to figure out what these mowers are used for. It seems to me that you cut the grass, then a week or so later it's grown back".
