I've used ESET's various products for a number of years now as an antivirus/security package and have always been happy.

I'm not sure of the difference between the Family Security Pack and their other offerings, but it appears to be broadly in line with the Smart Security package, but with the inclusion of licences for Android security as well.

Here are the prices before and after discount:

ESET Family Security Pack 3
includes: 3 Computers + 3 Android Devices
12months - $84.95 down to $59.47
24 months - $124.95 down to $87.47
36 months - $178.95 down to $125.26

ESET Family Security Pack 5
includes: 5 Computers + 5 Android Devices
12 months - $109.95 down to $76.97
24 months - $164.95 down to $115.46
36 months - $230.95 down to $161.66

From ESET:
"Protecting your computers, laptops, tablets and smartphones across all platforms has never been more convenient. The ESET Unilicense System allows you to mix and match the protection for your family's computers, tablets and smartphones running Windows®, Mac® and Android™."

  • Harris technology also has the 3x3 for 2 years for $66 and the 5x5 2 years for $79.

Although they're slow. It took almost a week for them to email me the code.

The flyer says ESET Security Version 6. So they are selling old product licences.

ESET Security is on Version 9 now.

Are they though or is it just an outdated product brochure? I thought these serial keys are subscription licences which entitle you to free upgrades to whatever the latest releases are?

I could be wrong so feel free to correct me. :)

    • ESET provides the versions for free. All you're paying for is a license to use any of the versions.

  • Well then it is a good deal i guess.
