Just noticed it today in Qld. Not available in NSW apparently not sure about other states and territories..

$8 also for qtr pounder and mcChicken. Maccas Central station has them. Maccas Wintergarden doesn't seem to though. I overheard them mention "Queensland" though so i'm not sure it's nationwide.

Yeah for 15 bucks you could watch a movie, eat a large maccas meal and have a couple of bucks left for coffee..

Had a medium Big Mac meal for first time in years a few weeks ago. Got a shock in drive thru when price came up $9.70. Couldn't believe it. Wont be going back to Maccas any time soon. The fries and drink cost McDonald's only a matter of cents to produce.
And they still underpay kids…
It's almost cheaper these days to fly to KL on an Air Asia special and go to the Cinemas there where it's like 10 Ringgit (3.50AUD) to see a movie and maccas lunch specials are pennies on what you pay here.. not that I eat the crap myself.. much sooner the local food.

When I worked at Maccas a couple of years ago it was $4.75 for a medium cheeseburger meal as the standard price. Now the same thing for $5 is a bargain?
Yeah the cheapest regular medium meal normally would have been the chicken n cheese regular meal for $5.15 and the cheeseburger regular meal was more than that. Maybe they've hiked prices up so these specials seem amazing…though I'm a student so they ARE pretty good ;)
still annoyed the bourke st maccas ( downstairs) in melbourne closed down. they had their own specials. probably cos crap location

You can get medium fries, medium drink, cheeseburger and sundae or apple pie for $5 in selected Macdonalds. Im in the Macarthur region in NSW and have a few stores that do this deal in my area. Been going on for a while.
Until last week maccas in Collins St had small double cheese burger meals for $4.95 and cheese burgers for $1 as part of a meal ….ran for over 1 month which is unusual for that sort of deal
There's a new chocolate filled apple-pie-like dessert with soft serve for $1.50 too that's just new on the menu here in Townsville
