Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault, and Deadlocked Free for PS3/PSV

150

On the Brazilian PSN store right now, these games are completely free. Not sure how long they will be up or if it's a glitch or something, but they're free right now, so get in while you can.

Click the link, which will take you to the Brazilian PSN store page for Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault (open the link in incognito mode if you're already signed into the PSN and don't want to sign out) and make a Brazilian account. From there, you grab this game for free, which will then, upon purchasing, unlock the cross buy version of the game, so both the PS3 and Vita versions, and at that point you'll also gain access to Ratchet: Deadlocked for free too, all the games should appear in your download list just from that initial click but it's worth a double check just in case.

Sign in as this account on your PS3 to download the games, and then play them on your main account if you want to snag a couple of decently easy and enjoyable platinum trophies for free. Or just enjoy the games, that's an option too. Obviously the Vita version of FFA will only work on the account that downloaded it, but since it's a shared trophy list for both versions it's all good.

Included, just for a wrap up
. Ratchet: Deadlocked (known as Ratchet: Gladiator in Aus), PS3
. Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault (known as Ratchet & Clank: Q-Force in Aus), PS3 AND Vita versions

All for freezies.

A shame but unable to change vita account easily made me refuse to make a new account just for the sake of vita.

This really needs to be addressed by Sony. Currently to change accounts, you need to format the memory card to use it on another account.

      • Amen to that

      • Multiple memory cards fix that. Each memory card for each region. It's still a PIA though. I picked up some game collections which came along with free memory sticks.

        • I'd be okay if the vita used micro sd or the vita cards were cheaper, but they're downright expensive at ~$80 for a 32gb card!

yea but you still have you reset and reinitialize them every time you want to swap account.

        • @Letrico:

I bought a second cheap vita off gumtree for this reason. Going to sell the unit though, without even having used it, I decided I'm too old and too busy for shenanigans like this these days

  • PSN AU - Free DLC for Ratchet & Clank QForce Miniboss Pack (PS3/PSV).

Not sure if they work with the BZ game, haven't tested it yet.

    • DLC unfortunately will only work with the game if the DLC is from the same region as the main game. So if you buy a region 4 disc, region 4 DLC will work. Download a digital region 4 game, same thing. Download/buy a region 1/2/3 disc, and the AU (region 4) DLC usually won't work. I mean, could be worth a shot just in case, but I've never heard of it working, sorry.
