Not a bad price for this model. Has a built in Projector that allows external input via HDMI (low res at 640x360, but usable). Built in Wi-Fi.
Normally ~$400.

built in projector though..
Don't know if people still have a need for an entry-level dedicated Camcorder nowaday.
This model is beaten by smartphone cameras.
the projector has very low resolution (not worth it).
This camera does have a big zoom and that's the only positive thing it has over competing devices.
Are they obsolete for everyone?
What if I want to see myself while filming (i.e. doing a review / interview)?
What if I want large recordings straight onto SD Cards?
Do smartphones allow easy manual re-focusing like a dedicated camcorder?
And most importantly to me, do modern smart phones handle low-light and movement better or worse than entry-level camcorders?
Of course not all smart phones are created equal. They range from under $100 to $1200+…
It's not all about megapixels…
Obsolete tech. Most current high end phones will record better video quality than these entry level camcorders. You need to spend over $1000 to get a camcorder with decent video quality. Or a Go Pro will also do a better job. The only advantage with this is it has a large optical zoom.
