AmEx Connect Offer Voided - Retailer (Trenery) Split Order into Two Separate Payments

Hi All

I recently registered my AMEX card for a current Trenery offer (Spend $140, get $40 back). Today, I placed an order for $145 worth of goods. I've just checked my order history, and can see that Trenery has actually split the order into two paymnets of $70. As such, I won't meet the criteria for the $40 refund.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I could go about fixing this? If it's not possible, I suppose I'll need to cancel my orders.

    For Trenery offer you need to spend $140 or more, in one or more transactions so u will still get your cashback

  • ^^ happened to me too in the past, with Country Road. You'll be ok.

  • Similar thing has happened with Woolies in the past.
    Placed an order, woolies said some was out of stock and will ship it at a later date, and it got split into two transactions, but Amex still paid it :)

    Else, give them a call to explain. I'm sure they'll pay up
