Our June celebration begins with the ma-a-a-a-arvelous Goat Simulator and drives into June 16 with The Crew. On the Xbox 360, Xbox Live Gold members start the month with platforming classic Super Meat Boy, and get tactical with XCOM: Enemy Unknown.

As usual, all games are available only for a limited time, as part of the ongoing Games with Gold program, so sign up now to get in on the action!

    Got The Crew at the Dick Smith sales, not bad but it shows on the map all the races, including those from the Wild Run DLC. Kinda annoying when you get there and it tells you that you can't do the race unless you have that pack. Same with cars on offer in the garages, can only get this one if you purchase etc :/
    Otherwise, much the same as NFS

        I would doubt it, the Base game is given free in the hope you will buy the expansion.

      The expansion is probably worth getting. I think I read that along with the new content they also made improvements to the overall driving "feel".

          because its a stupid argument that some hero always needs to bring up. xbox gold was a paid service long before they threw bonus games in to the offer.

        Hard to argue getting 4 bonus games a month is not good value without looking like you are simply looking for excuses to attack people with different gaming preferences when you previously went into raptures about getting a "bonus" 2gb of data.

          Heh, the best way to deal with trolls like that is to point out the logical reasons why his criticism of a particular console ozbargain deal is flawed as he tends to flee when presented with evidence disproving his obvious anti-console arguments. For example, in this deal, he attempted to insinuate this was not a bargain as one has to pay $49-$60 for 48 games a year. When it was pointed out to him that he was applying a very different standard to when he previously claimed he got a great deal for a mobile wireless service because they gave him a "bonus" 2gb, he stopped posting to undermine this bargain while the same time some brave "anonymous" poster negged all my posts, lol.

      I think gold games become available with American time. So it will be 2 June here. Not sure about it but that is what I find when I try to redeem my free games on 1st or 16th date from games with gold section of Xbox.com.au

        games usually come up around 1am aest but close at midnight pst roughly.
        so its a little longer than a month.
        otherwise if u missed it in oz u cud change lcation to usa to get it.
        sp deals are 1 month plus almost a day.
        on the 1st day of the month and last day you can often get the games from both months briefly

          It's only the 360 which allows you to play the games after your subscription runs out. XB1 follows the same model as the PS4.

        I think I would often forget to claim these games if I didn't see them posted on Ozbargain. Thanks to those who continue to post them every month.

        Been meaning to buy Super Meat Boy since I saw Indie Game: The Movie and I don't own any of the other games so that's a bonus.

    PS Plus has been shit forever, but with that being said, half of these games have already been on PS+ (Meat Boy and X-Com), and the other two are going for 10 or less all the time (Goat Sim is on sale for 8 bucks all the time and the Crew is 10 or 15 in every store near me that still has it)

    With THAT being said though, since you actually own the games you get from GWG, these are still pretty sweet. Goat Sim is a blast, Meat Boy is a sexy little platformer, X-Com is pretty fun honestly, and The Crew looks like a real fun racer. Good month for you X-Boxers, I'm a little jelly over here, but then, I've not renewed BS+ since like last year.

        NBA 2K16, a reskin that will be a few bucks in a few months, and Gone Home, a game that should have been a few bucks and can be done in a few hours.

        Yeah, 10 out of 10 fantastical value there.

          All games depreciate over time. Gta san andreas on ps2 is probably $10… does it make it a bad game?

          Nba 2k16 is $50 right now and both got over 9/10 on ign. So confirmed good

        The cost of Gold isn't the problem…I just don't use the console anymore…So, I can't justify GOLD..Like last year I had it and probably only used the console 3 times. Cheaper to just by the game at cost or wait for it to be on the ps4 for free.

          Buy a 1-month subscription and only activate it during the month which has the games that interest you.

          They only cost $11.95 max and (for the Xbox 360) you can keep the games after the subscription ends. This means you can play these games offline and without an active subscription.

          The good thing is that you'll get 4 games for ~$3 each. The bad thing is that you won't know what next month's games are until the last 4 days of the month.

        For the Xbox 360, trials (2, 7, 14-day) do NOT work. Only a 1-month and above work.

        However, I have heard trials working for the Xbox One, but I can't verify as I don't own one.

    I just cancelled my $1 Gold subscription. It said it will cancel my Gold on 1June so may be I can still get the free games tomorrow before it actually stopped.

          Yeah, it's tricky to get that timing right.

          I was lucky enough to get two months overlapping (last day of April with first day of May) and got an extra game, effectively making it 5 games on the Xbox 360, instead of 4 on a 1-month subscription.
