Well I think it's a discontinued item so they just want to get rid of stock so they can introduce their new one. Hence it's $20 at Kmart and $12 at GAME.
As inherentchoice said. It's a discontinued item and they've been trying to get rid of them since Christmas. I remember back in Jan (i think) JB had them for $10

Because Rock Band 1 drums are absolute crap.
I prefer them a lot better over the fragile GH version…..

hurstville kmart had 1 ps3 and 1 xbox at kmart
going for 20 bucks!
theres a couple left @ campbelltown
but keep in mind they only have 4 drum things instead of 5 that they have in band hero
Band hero is the guitar hero series, not rockband which they were designed to be used with.
When playing any guitar hero games, the software will know and give 4 and not 5 notes, so they will still work perfectly fine, just won't be able to play on the highest difficulty.

Just thought id let you all know: if your in Adelaide, Kmart West Lakes and Kmart Marion (confirmed) have both the rock band drums for $20 as well as the guitar for $20 as well. Only for PS3 i believe, but i bought both from the west lakes store today, and can say that it was a steal! great drum set and guitar! get in while you can, $40 for a drum and guitar set is unheard of! :)
