It is easy to use, but it's certainly not good value. My big-4 bank MC debit card provides better rates and better protection than the QF card.
The best value is Citibank, as I'm sure everyone else in this thread will chime in with. Opening the account is a hassle but it's worth it.
Fair call, I was just happy with how easy it was to recharge and convert conrrencies in the app. But agree the rates were crap. Convenience has a price!
Citibank
Citibank
Get a debit for taking out money, and a credit for purchases, from this list

Citibank Plus VISA Debit card. You can't go wrong.
A lttle bit of local currency ($200), a Citibank VISA debit loaded with x amount of your own dollars to get money out of overseas ATM's fee free and good VISA rates and a 28 Degrees Mastercard for all other purchases (Fee free overseas transations at good Mastercard rates).
Citibank..
Citibank Plus VISA Debit card. Check list of partner banks in the country you are going to but the list should be quite extensive. As I understand it -is it not ALL ATMS, just the ones they have a partnership with. For example in AU they have a relationship with Westpac but not NAB. Correct me if I am wrong.
If it's cash you want from intl ATMs…..
I might get poo poo'd here but I found the qantas cash card to be highly useful and fairly easy to top up with multiple currencies or convert on your card from one to another, although the rates are not brilliant….. I'm sure there are other travel cards that do the same thing with better rates.
