was just some after some feedback, recently purchased a laptop from JB-HIFI, HP AE-108TX ($1998).
Was wondering if its worth buying for about 20-30% off the price being a repacked version, but looks brand new, no scratches or anything.
feedback would be awesome.
Correct me if I am wrong, I assumed by "repacked" you meant "refurbished"? If it is the case then my personal experience would say it is ok to go with that option. I bought a refurbished Dell laptop from a Ebay seller which was in partnership with Dell, it even came with the normal warranty of those brand new laptops from Dell. The laptop was refurbished by Dell, which means they have tested and do what need to be done with it, in working orders just like those new ones. I have had it for about 5 years now and no problem at all. I have been using it heavily for studying and gaming, watching movies… No problem. However, my experience was in UK, not sure how it works in Aus.
