Amaysim to Vodafone Port on Weekends

Just wondering if the porting from Amaysim(Optus) to Vodafone works over wekeends ?
Last time, It took around 3 hours on a weekday.

    You will need to wait until Monday… Thats what my experience with amaysim.

    I ported telstra to vodafone today, so vodafone does their bit on weekend even though I'm pretty sure their site indicates otherwise.

    Standard porting times are from Mondays to Saturdays inclusive for all providers. You will need to wait until Monday for the port to be actioned.

    Amaysim to vodafone saturday morning. Done in 15 mins.

    Amaysim to vodafone thursday night wasnt completed till saturday morning. So its inconsistent.

      You can ask the new provider to give you a 'status update' and push it through. I've never figured out why some ports get stuck/delayed and others go through straight way.

        True, and when called they can also push it through immediately after confirming your details.

      Most ports go through within 10-15 mins. However if there is an issue on either the gaining carrier or the losing carrier it can take a lot longer but most errors are rectified within 48 hours. And although all porting is supposed to be shut on Sunday I've sometimes seen them go through. It's luck of the draw.

    I have ported 2 numbers from Amaysim to Vodafone on Sat night.
    one of it was ported by this morning, whereas the other one is not ported yet.

    Also, Vodafone has doubled the inclusions for some reason on my 30$ prepaid pack
    validity from 28 days to 56 days
    Data 1.5 to 4.5GB
    Credit $30 to $60.

      Hope the other port is thru by lunch tomorrow.

      (just mentioning lunchtime as a couple of ports i did for family this year seemed to happen then !) txt from them alerting to that fact actually.

      Have been with Vodafone since the old 3 days and I have been happy woth the service they provide.
