Want to Buy a Laptop, Now or Wait?

I'm looking to buy a new laptop soon. Should I:
- wait until closer to the end of the financial year, as prices have some room to fall
- wait until the start of the new financial year (maybe there will be new stock or models out?)
- buy now/soon, because prices are as low as they're going to get going into the EOFY?

    Buy a higher enf used 3rd or 4th gen.
    Bang for buck.
    Slap in an ssd and 8gb of ram.

    Generally speaking I think it's false economy, everything is priced in and so there isn't a "right time" to pull the trigger.

    If you are claiming it on tax I'd do it pre 30 Jun to get the tax benefit sooner
