Hi,
Interesting situation. I am a Google Music Subscriber… So just got access to YouTubeRed with no advertisements.
For the first time in months on Telstra Cable… I couldnt stream a video without massive buffering (multiple attempts).
Tested my internet connection and it was 32mbs (usually about 36mbs). Not much of a slow down…
Anyone else seeing similar issues?
Telstra have a long history and sordid history of being unable to deliver streaming video services despite being Australia's largest ISP and the fact that much smaller ISPs that buy their product from Telstra itself have no trouble at all.
Naturally this has nothing at all to do with Telstra owning several competing video services including Foxtel and they fully support network neutrality.
