Fire Emblem: Fates Special Edition - $149.90

Hey guys, not sure if this is the right place to post this, I'm new here.

So those of you who are fans of Fire Emblem know that the new game has a Special Edition coming out. Unfortunately all the preorders were sold out really fast, and it's almost impossible to find a copy for under $300. Anyway, there's a seller on eBay who has it listed for $149.90.

It's not really a deal in that you still pay the full price, but it's basically impossible to find anywhere else for less than $300.

    Wow, I'm surprised that the AU edition is already fast approaching the crazy price hikes of the US edition. The preorders for JB Hi-Fi and EB Games' second shipment were up for quite a while, weren't they?

    This will be a true collectible.

    Aside from collectibility, it must be the (potential) rarity of the item which drives the prices up.

    Preordered the special edition instore from JB Hi Fi in December and when I picked my order up it was $99 total (Including $10 deposit).

    Receipt if anyone wants to try and price match. Probably won't work.

    Does it matter if its used or not? I'll probably eventually sell mine once I've gotten through all the games (probably take me a while, still playing bravely second).

      Cos we got some bigger/longer stuff than the US edition.

        US box still better than EU/AU box. Better presentation compared to layout of local AU release.

      Because Nintendo of Europe likes peg friendly boxes. The Majora's Mask Special edition was the same.
