it seems i d/l the wrong app Cinepop. I re-download Cine Whoop but just saw VIVh's post so waiting for LiamB to explain.
I tried making payment 3 times on the app. And it says "payment failed" twice. The third time, the entire app crashed. I then check my credit card transactions and it looks like payment went through.
I then go to check my order history and it says "You have no orders". Looks like it's eaten my money. Buyer Beware.
It's okay. The hoyts website does this too. =)

Seems you can't buy tickets in advance even when the cinema is already selling them? Want to buy for xmen do I need to wait until Thursday?
You can buy any Hoyts cinema tickets and it can used for any movie any day and is valid up ro three months.
It worked for me. The child ticket came down to $5.75. The actual voucher says Child/Senior.
I had to select a movie to buy the tickets but the voucher does not have the movie title printed on it. So I'm guessing I can use them to see any movie at any QLD Hoyts. Expiry is 31 July 2016.
app says no booking fees but there's booking fees incurred after entering in the voucher codes…
T&C's say fees will apply to online booking. No fees if you exchange at the box office.
bummer. There's never been booking fees when claiming tickets in person so was hoping it was referring to online.
No booking fee for buying our e-tickets. No booking fees if you use them manually at the box office. $1.20 booking fee applies if your booking online at hoyts.com.au using our e-ticket payable directly to the cinema.
The app told me there is no local theaters, i cant find any qld hoyts cinemas from the app either…
