Wait you gotta pay for it?

    • +5

is $3 too much for you?

      • He wants a freebie!

        • +1

It is not so much of a freebie. Give email address is fine, I can ignore the emails or use disposable email addresses. But putting real mobile number so that they can spam you later is not attractive. (I don't have disposable mobile number handy just for a paying sample)

        • @fatice: Have you tried 0400000000? Or does it require a response from your mobile to activate?

        • +8

          @emoree:
          thats actually someones number though

        • @emoree:

Yes, it need confirmation from the mobile.

      • +1

It is for a site that was originally for free samples. Especially considering these were free on PINCHme way back when.

        • +5

you better get your delorean from the garage and go 88 miles per hour.

        • +10

          @tuzii: Man, if I can't afford a $3 razor chances are I can't afford a DeLorean!

Dude, sentences start with a capital and end with full stop. Maybe you could both chip in and get a discount on those English lessons? :)

          @EightImmortals: a full stop.

ahhh…. yea that one's way over my head…

    • I would've thought with so many deals for rechargable ones in the past on OzBargain, there would be no requirement to buy one of these.

    • This is madness!

  • +3

Thanks - needed a new razor head and blade, $3 del is a good one.

  • Cheers. Good deal.

  • thanks

  • +1

I had a… maybe 1-year old one, and it's still doing its job well, maybe I was lazy so it's about time for a new one.

  • +10

Would've thought they could shave a bit more off the price
Yup - I've started the puns - sorry.

    • +2

That was a close shave but I think it was smooth enough that nobody noticed.

  • Comments on quality of blades and ongoing costs?

Genuinely interested if it gives a better shave.

    • +1

      It's $3, give it a go.

    • +1

I've got one - a very nice shave. Buy replacement blades from CostCo, about $63 for a 16 pack if I recall correctly. Only change them once a fortnight or so, depending how lazy I've been with shaving…

      • Also not a cheap investment, but do you reckon this Razor Pit Blade Sharpener would work?
        http://www.shavershop.com.au/online-store/blade-shavers/post…

        • Haven't tried personally, but it looks like it might.

        • +2
        • @snuke: Thanks!
Looks good: so get a scrap of denim (or an old leather belt) and apply a bit of polish (tiny bit of brasso/ toothpaste/ jif?).
Give the blade 10 to 15 strokes (with the blade moving forward,) and it will clean and maybe sharpen the shaver for another round!
Even talks about sharpening electric shaver heads in youTube, but I would be wary of this.

  • +2

Will the non pro blades work with this one?

    • +1

Yes. Any of the fusion blades.

  • I have older style pro glide. Being using it for over a month now and still going strong. Great blades with heavier handle for better feel and shave.

  • +28

Don't be tempted by the term ball in the name. Do not use this on your balls.

  • -3

Any deals on the Power model ?

  • i got one of this when it was given as a sample, thanks op ordered one again but does anyone know how much is the replacement blades for this one and which one is compatible with it?

    • any fusion blades will be fine… Even if you watch the video on the link, you can see that the blades are interchangeable

  • +2

Go old school and get yourself a basic cut throat razor with disposable blades. Get a nice Dovo intro shaver for about $40 and some Japanese made Feather blades. Works out so much cheaper in the long term than using these wanky shavers. Unless you're using it on your balls, then you need one of these.. LOL

    • +17

I used a cut throat on my balls once, I now have no need to shave them ever again.

    • +7

"Get a nice Dovo intro shaver for about $40 and some Japanese made Feather blades. Works out so much cheaper in the long term than using these wanky shavers"

      Wait a second….

      • 8 pack replacement for these are about $35 aren't they?
100 Feather blades can be picked up for $40…

        • +5

he wasnt disputing "cheap" he was disputing "wanky" in the context of 'japanese feather blades'

    • +5

Definitely get a double edge safety razor over a cut throat, especially if you have never used either. But it is absolutely cheaper in the long run and I find gives a closer shave. I bought a pack of different blades from ebay about 3 years ago for $13 and haven't needed to buy any more. I didn't really like the feathers TBH, they messed up my bumpy and random directioned neck. The ones that have worked the best so far have been Dorco ST301 and gilette 7 o'clock

      • This. I like the Astra blades - under $15 per $100 delivered from Ebay. Will last for 100 months (over 8 years)

  • Thanks! Was looking for one. Bought it! A steal at $3!

  • Thanks, got 1

  • +1

Is this the non battery version ?

  • Ordered one, "Your order has been received and will be processed within 3 days.
Your feedback will be due in 24 days." What does this mean, Should i leave feedback? where should i leave the feedback if yes?
Hope they don't stop my order because of this.

    • It's not an obligation to leave feedback, you'll just be asked to do so in the future before claiming any other samples from their site.

  • +1

It would not verify my mobile no matter how many times I send it

  • I use these shavers at the moment and have to say they are really good . Work well with a 3 day weekend growth or everyday use .

  • +1

The website is so slow, received a confirmation from PayPal, but haven't received any email from PinchMe, and the transaction finished with "a white screen"

    • +1

      Exact same here… Dodgy…

      • let's wait and see…

      • Ozbargained! The website is down, when I try to have a look at my account…
        "Whoops!

Looks like we're having a moment

Don't worry though we'll be back up shortly, just give us a minute before trying again. Happy pinching!"

      • There's nothing dodgy about this site, I've been using it for a while now with no issues, with that being said this is the first time purchasing something from them but paying with PayPal is a no-brainer.

        • yes, I used it a few times as well, but only with free samples though…

  • Just in time

  • +5

    Not even able to logon!

  • Not even able to logon!

  • Was looking for a suitable solution for my manscaping. Cheers OP

  • +2

+1 for buying a double edged razor. The razor itself is a little pricey but will last your entire life. Good blades can be bought for $0.20 each. You will get a much better shave then you get with this "technological breakthrough".

  • +1

I used to buy Gillette fusion for couple years until that day when i saw coles 5 blades razer for under $6 and since that i didnt buy any Gillette product except their shaving gel.

    • -3

Why waste money on shaving gel when water is almost free? Never had to use any shaving gels since I dumped the no names for a Gillette.

    • +3

I've been really impressed with the coles razors. Just started using them.
I'm sure there's something terrible about them….. probably made in sweat shops from ground up baby seals….. but they work really well for me….

Tried to use safety razors at one stage, then discovered life was just too short for that kind of playing about…..
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oO3YmT2d-8k

      • As far as i know the blades are made in the US but assembled in China. The only terriple thing about them is they are most likely one or maximum two times use. After the second time they become really annoying and the hair start to stuck heavily between the blades.

        • 1 or 2 times, that would be very expensive.

Have you ever tried Double Edge?

          DE is the Ozbargainers razor.

  • +3

    Ah, this one!
I remember signing up for the FREE sample of this one, on 03/02/2015 (just searched up the confirmation mail!)

Was so pissed when I didn't receive it after a month, that I went and bought it full price :)

  • -1

    .
Thanks blablabla23 for posting the deal I was looking for a new razor the Gillette Fusion Pro Gliders were out of my price range for razors !

I think they're really free from Gillette the $3 would be to cover the postage & the PayPal fee

  • +3

A true ozbargainer would pluck out every hair individually with their fingers before they'd spend $3 on something that was once free.

    • and miss out browsing ozbargain website for more bargains..

    • don't do this… the ingrowns on this would be super scary….

      • How does that take place?

  • +3
    • +1

I couldn't watch that… Seriously hoping there's a nasty shaving accident at the end of that clip.

    • +2

Great video. Shows what this product really is.

  • $10+ for blades. Roflmao.

    • its not the same blades as the fusion?! I thought only the handle was changing!

    • I get 50 razors for $10 for my straight razor but I go through 2 per shave

      • wow 2 per shave… dude what are u shaving…
