  All electric heaters cost the same to run for each unit of heat they produce, so running costs are reduced by getting one with a thermostat.
  Oil column are good for heating a room forms long period, a fan heater for instant local warmth.
  If you can install reverse cycle aircon it is the cheapest electric heater by along way, as instead of producing thermal heat it uses a compressor to move move heat into your house.
  RC aircon would likely paynfor itself in a year or two from the savings over a cheap heater.
