Park employee taking a video (of my car) while driving, should I report?

Hi all

On Sunday, we went to the park for a picnic. While I was parking (badly, I had to try few times), an employee of the Park stopped her car, and started taking a video of my car with her phone.

She was very aggressive (you would have thought I was committing a crime), and clearly she will try to get me a fine (although I am not sure on what basis).

She was holding her phone and made the video while driving. This is strictly forbidden, and such she committed a road offense.

So I thought to contact the Park and report the offense as pre-emptive strike. On the other hand maybe nothing will happen, and I will just make things worse.

Any suggestion?

    If you're in a "park" then road rules about mobiles don't apply because… you're in a park….. OK…go and neg me if you think I'm serious…

    learn to drive and/or park properly and you will avoid the heat. You shouldn't be driving a vehicle if you don't know how to control one

    She might have been having a bad day, and she just happened to come across you. Who knows..

    At the end of the day I see the point of further action unless you actually get a fine.. Otherwise its wasted energy on your behalf.

    Last I know, parking badly is not a fine…

    Go search youtube for bad parking and you'll see lots of instances of people videoing people parking.

    Road rules don't apply to employees driving in private parks owned by their employer… so your reporting would just make you look like a bigger twat than you've already done here.

      What a pile of rubbish. The road rules apply EVERYWHERE. Speed or drink drive through a park, car park, on the beach etc and see what happens
