Anyone tried out Woolworths Mobile

I see that Woolworths mobile recently launched themselves on the Telstra network. Their coverage maps looks okay apart from outback locations. Was wondering if anyone has actually tried out the network themselves yet, keen to get some feedback as their phone plans seem quite good.

If you can commit a 24 month plan and are after a Samsung S6/7 phone, it can be a choice. But if you're after SIM-only month-to-month, ALDI is cheaper.

I use them, Pretty good for me in Melbourne.
Havent had any issue issues apart from a drop in signal along certain parts of my daily commute (and thats normal enough).
Haven't had to deal with their customer support so cant comment on that aspect.

I am using Woolworths Prepaid now, and the only issue I have is date connection seems to drop along the airport line. But phonecalls are fine.

  • Thanks XoiThit, Mechanist and Purple Lady. I am looking at them as a alternative to Telstra and am after a phone on a plan, hence Woolworths over Aldi. I already have drop out and coverage problems with my phone on Telstra in Bendigo and on the way to Melbourne on train, it is a blue tick phone. Anyone used Woolworths in regional areas that can comment on coverage?
