It`s a vibrating tool.
I suppose you're right, since it's not circular.
Would you trust the same tool @$25?
Nope
What if I on-sold it to you for $150?
super cheap…last time I needed something like this at bunnings it was 4x the price.
I bought the xu1 branded on from Bunnings for 35 bucks, don't know if I am doing it wrong but I bought it to cut a square hole in kitchen cabinetry, the blade kept coming loose while cutting, needless to say the hole looks like shit but it's behind the dishwasher so it isn't visible. Anyway will be taking it back
I bought it to cut a square hole
it's behind the dishwasher so it isn't visible
So it didn't need to be a square hole anyway!!
Well, normally no I would just use a hole saw, however there was already a gap between the bench top and cabinet and the thing I was passing through was rectangular so I thought it better not to have a hole the distance of the radius down. Anyway long story
Great, will have a look at my local Kmart tomorrow.
Remember that it's a multifunction tool, not an all in one tool. If you can use a saw to cut something, then use a saw, don't use this instead.
These are great for working with Perspex acrylic. Much better than a hack saw or scorer.
WOT?
These are useless for cutting metal or brick but these make great for sanding or scraping glue.
I am guessing this is loud?

Can I use it to sand a callus off my foot?
Yes, you can. FYI, the set also has polishing tools.
Can I use it to polish a callus on my foot?
I bought a cheapie from Bunnings a couple of years ago… the main part was ok but the attachments were utter crap, mild steel, would not cut butter.
A quality set of attachments for these things was expensive back then, not sure what they cost now.
Seconded. Attachments in these cheap sets are totally useless. The Ozito motor from Bunnings works well with premium blades though. I replaced my bathroom grout using it and 2 "diamond" blades also from Bunnings.
The Performance motor from Kmart above is hopeless because it has non-standard blade mounting. It only works with Kmart's crappy accessories.
OK, that answers the question that I couldnt figure out from the sealed box. Ive already got a bunch of universal attachments from a dead Bosche. I bought this hoping I could use the same attachments. Looks like Ill be returning this without opening it up.
Made In China?
Judging by the price, strength of the Australian economy and cost of our labor, I would take a guess at it being made in Australia.
hahaha! Nice one
i would advise against super cheap multi-tools. they're not the nicest tools to use in the first place. grab a green bosch one from somewhere if you want a cheapish one…
Nothing against China but we Aussies kill ourselves . Buy all these cheap crap for $15 and we dont care coz it was only 15.
How many industries got closed down in this stupid country. We are so dump and we will reach a stage were we dont even know how to make a BBQ
We are blessed with resources but dump idiots rule this country it doesnt matter if its Lab or Lib or Greenie…
Soon china will open factories here with cheap imported labour to make australian made china products.
Fuc k that. Have to stop china buying up chunks of Australia.
Hmm…. I'm not sure I'd trust a $15 power tool enough to hold it while it spun metal at 19000 RPM…
