Help Me Find a Bike with SRAM Groupset

Hey all,

So I was hit by a car this morning, and my beloved Fuji Roubaix is a write off. So now comes the pain of finding a new bike. The only stipulation apart from not spending millions of dollars (this is OZB after all…) is that I want SRAM gearing on the new bike. Web searches are a bit of a losing game, as most bikes come with Shimano. So is there anyone out there that knows a way to specify groupset when searching, help would be appreciated.

Only other thing to mention is that this will be an insurance claim, so a bricks and mortar bike shop is the best bet.

    i got a cyclocross from cellbikes came with sram apex

    What is your budget roughly? Can you do a deal with a shop and have the groupset switched over before you pick up?

    I don't know what brands specify SRAM. Is there a reason you want SRAM rather than Shimano? I've never had any issue with the Shimano gear on my bikes (several) but can't compare it with SRAM as I haven't experienced it.

      I went to sram when I got my first roadie after riding MTBs with Shimano. The functionality is pretty radically different, and I've grown to love the way it works.

      You're right, it's probably a case of heading to a bike store and seeing if the groupset can be swapped. Budget is $1000 from insurance, plus whatever I'll want to contribute (likely up to another $1000).

    Have a look at Boardman bikes. Their website says they are also 30% off at Amart Sports at the moment. Examples:
    - Boardman CX Team $1099 from Boardman, would be $1050 from Amart
    - Boardman CXR 9.0 $1399 from Boardman

    Don't look at this one in case you are tempted:
    - Boardman Road SLR 9.8

    Facebook is really good too (as long as you ignore the few people that want full rrp for their 10 year old bike)

    Buy and sell groups for each state are fairly popular

    Whoops. Should have updated earlier, found a full carbon bike through gumtree with full sram red running gear. Very happy bunny.
