"Audible announced today a new feature that allows listeners to give any audiobook they own in their library to other users instantly via e-mail, text message, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp and other services using iOS, Android and Windows 10 devices.
Each recipient gets his or her first title through for free, and Audible will pay authors, actors and other rights holders the equivalent value of the title."

"The company announced that subscribers to the Amazon-owned audiobook company will be able to send an unlimited number of audiobooks to others with a tool called "Send a Book." The feature will allow people to send a full copy of an audiobook to a person of their choice for free. Any individual recipient will be able to redeem one full title for free with an Amazon ID; after that, they will be asked to sign up for an Audible free trial."
If they're new, I hope they still get their one month free audiobook. It's possible the feature is US only, but most of us probably are using US accounts. I wonder how it will handle an Aus recipient?
You might prefer to change Audibook in the title to Audiobook.
