Eligibility
Entry is open to all NSW, QLD, SA, and VIC residential or small business customers (which is defined for this competition as customers that use less than 40MWh of electricity or 1000GJ of gas per year (pro rata based on the relevant bill)) with an active AGL Energy Plan for gas or electricity who are 18 years of age or over. However, the following are not eligible:
- a. employees and contractors of AGL Energy Limited and their immediate families, Salmat Digital, and their associated agencies and companies;
- b. customers on multi-site arrangements;
- c. large market customers; or
- d. customers not on AGL’s published Market Contract General Terms or Standard Retail Contract.

Entry Limit
A customer may receive only one entry into the draw for each supply contract and each entry must be associated with one supply address and fuel (gas or electricity).

The Prize Details
There will be a total of 100 random winning entries into the competition inclusive of Residential and Small Business customers across Victoria, SA, NSW and Queensland.

The “Free Bill” credit will be applied on each winner’s relevant AGL account at the winner’s supply address after the prize draw, subject to the winner remaining eligible for the prize until the credit is applied.

The credit only applies to the energy account directly associated with the winning entry drawn (and not any other accounts or debts associated with the winner).

Total prize pool value for Victoria, NSW, SA and Queensland is estimated at a maximum of $100,000 (including GST), but will depend on the amounts of the credits applicable to the Free Bill Periods of the winners.

The total prize pool is capped at $100,000 (including GST).

If the aggregate of the prizes to be awarded exceeds this amount, the Promoter may disqualify entries for accounts deemed to have used an exceptional amount of energy during the Free Bill Period for a residential or small business customer (defined as a bill greater than $2000).
