What network to get data pool to use with a phone and a mobile broadband?

Hi everyone, I am currently on the month-to-month, sim only contract with Vodaphone to use on my phone. But I recently bought a mobile broadband from one of very useful posts on here. And I am thinking of get another prepaid data only sim to put on that mobile broadband or should I get like a month-to-month data pool plan so I can have a sim card to use on my phone, and another one to use on the broadband so I can use my ipad as well.
It would be wonderful if I can get some recommendations on this topic, like the plan, what network…
This is my 1st post here, I just moved to Aus recently and I am glad that I found OzBargain, very useful so far, hopefully someone can help me out with this concern as well.

    Can't you just turn on your phone hotspot for the iPad?

      it drains my battery really quick, I would prefer to use the broadband as not much heat generated when charging and using compare to phone.

    USB data modem may make switching Out/in SIM easier, & faster reply to messages.

    take look@ prepaid 365 days: broadband +phone features using one card. avg. value for talk, but, $3/2000 MB block and < 47 hrs. Watch !$2MB; stack 2G +2G for more.
