Just wanted get a discussion going on people's experiences with selling their boats?
e.g.
What were you selling? Dealer vs private sale? Who or where'd you post up your ads? What is the process you go through? What price were you aiming for? and what did you end up getting?

I haven't sold a boat, but, sell it at the start of the season when people are beginning to think about how much enjoyment they will get from their boat, not about how much they didn't use it over summer and how much less it will get used in winter.
Define "boat".
