I noticed these last Friday on sale for only $3! Plenty of stock available today at Pacific Fair, Gold Coast. Garden City was well stocked last Friday, will be worth checking your local store for stock and availability. Great gift for Mothers Day or a quick chocolate fix.

My wife got a box from Eastgardens for less than $2 last week.
Later I saw that Leichhardt had a whole rack full of them reduced (marked at different prices, but would probably have scanned the same).
Unfortunately when I went in this morning I could only find new stock on promotion at $5 for Mother's Day.

What's the best before date?
The cheap ones I saw last week were best before early May, which would explain why they were so cheap and why they seem to have vanished completely (expired and removed from sale).
The $5 ones I saw in Leichhardt and Burwood were dated early June, so I expect they'll come down after Mother's Day if there's still a lot of stock left.
I like Target, I've enjoyed many absolute bargains from there, so this kind of scenario (along with the hundreds of keyboards and cases, etc, that I saw being flogged off for under $2) makes me a bit sad. I worry the company is going to go bust and my source of bargains will come to an end.
