I'm thinking of buying the HP Officejet 5740 printer which is only $60 but I'm worried at buying this online at umart cause jbhifi and Harvey Norman sell it for $119. How can umart sell this at half the price? How's their delivery service?
Do you trust Umart prices?

both JB and HN are seldom cheap across the range, they only discount specific stock with promo
even then you best check the price against other retailers to see if their "huge DISCOUNTS" are just making it in line with other retailers
Umart is a reputable store that has been around for quite a while. They are also very competitively priced. Think MSY but without the terrible service.
Lol.. yea.. I tell my friends to never shop at HN/JB for computer equipment, even when they have 20% off sales, they are still more expensive than what you can find on staticice. Only go there when you see a HN/JB deal reach front page on OzB and you can't go wrong.

I was going to Umart in 2001, and they'd been around for a few years by then. They're not perfect, and they're often not quite as cheap as MSY, but they have a much better setup and service. I rarely buy computer gear from anywhere except Umart now.
I believe the way they can be so cheap is by direct importing goods from China. The owners are Chinese and have have setup good supply connections.
How's their delivery time?
id choose umart over HN any day of the week…even the days when Umart are closed and HN open
i have bought from umart many many times, no problems at all with them.
How long did it take for them to deliver your item?
I go in store. It's only 15 minutes from me.
Shipping is reasonable. Small order 1 day. Medium order 3 days. Large order a while if not all items are in stock .
They're a brick and mortar store that have been around for at least a decade. They're not gonna take your money and run.
Staticice shows other stores selling for around that much.
I think it just goes to show how much of a rip off HN/JB are.
