Buying David Jones E-Gift Cards from Enterntainment Book

Has anyone been able to buy David Jones E-Gift cards (at 10% discount) via the Entertainment Book ever since they added the SMS verification to their purchasing process

I've tried four different cards - three credit cards and one debit card - and they've all been rejected. I've emailed them but have not heard any response.

    got one with visa with citibank which went through ok a month ago, maximum 2 x $500 per transaction

      Thanks for the reply. I haven't exceeded the $1000 daily transaction limit or the $5000 Membership limit. So I'm guessing it's related to my Entertainment Book account. Will have to chase this up.

    Finally resolved this. According to Entertainment Publications, David Jones has a strict policy on buying these gift cards. The name on the credit card has to match the name in your Entertainment account exactly. (Also doesn't accept purchases from international IPs apparently). My credit card name has my middle initials in it hence it was declined. Also note that the Entertainment account details has no field for middle name or initials so I was told to put it at the end of my first name.

    In any case they processed my request manually. Hope this helps someone in the future

      I have had the same problem buying DJs gift cards through E/Book, however, it was not because of any name discrepancies. It was because E/Book introduced the Verified by Visa step in the checkout process. You have to sign up for Verified by Visa in order to get to the next step.

        I have signed up for Verified by Visa and also its MasterCard equivalent and purchased other things online without any problems

    Anyone know how long it takes for the electronic delivery?

    I want need to buy something from DJ's tomorrow - do you think it will arrive by 4pm tomorrow at the latest?

      They say 2 business days, but mine took about 2 hours today. Not sure if you can get them quick fast over the weekend.
