Time traveller, you got ripped by paying $590 for this TV in 2024. :P
Fat fingers and not fully proof reading gets me every time.
On the positive side both these TV's have a 3 year warranty. What are TGG generally like for after sales and warranty service?
I was there the other day and found the TV salesman indifferent to a potential sale of a $600 TV, beneath him to explain anything was the impression I got when I asked what standards people look for, so not impressed with them so far and wonder if this is a top down attitude to be aware of.

Less 20% makes 557.60 (still shows the 20% code COLLECT on the listing. Prob would have bought at 439.
This 3800 model is the one the retailer wanted to swap for my faulty 5600 model as a replacement……. Finally I got a refund and then promptly banned from the store because I wanted the refund instead
My 50” TCL, I've just had confirmation of refund.
I paid 590 in 2024 for the TV. Comes with 3 year warranty. Two weekends ago a 1cm wide line of pixels from top to bottomaepund the middle of the screen just stopped working. Big blue line.
Went to local repair agent who told me at the start, it's faulty screen, Cant be repaired and they have no replacement.
Finally got acknowledgement today of the refund through retailer…..though I suspect it would have been a much longer process of I didn't have issues with the same retailer over a faulty fridge from the same place.
I had model L50S5600FS smart TV.
For 590, it was a good price.
Haven't looked at what the differences between these two 50” TCL are, but prior to the fault, I thought it was a good tv, and a good price.
TCL were fine, helpful over phone,acknowledged fault when I emailed the pics of the screen, offered refund Or replace once at the service agent, the retailer Retravision unfortunately, I can say was not……….
