Hi,
The whole family is relocating to Mauritius in July. We're looking for one-way tickets for 2 adults and 2 children. Departure date is pretty flexible.
Please help me find a decent deal.
Thank you.

You didn't include your starting point, but used the one in your profile's location.
At the time of searching (mid July), cheapest is ~$890 on AirAsia/Malaysia Airlines
Thanks.
Dep at 00.15 for the cheaper ones :( The twins are 7. They'll be very grumpy if we kept them awake till after midnight.
Some airlines give you double the baggage limit if you can prove you are emigrating. If that helps.
Cheers :)
There's not a lot of competition on that route… With kids the Perth - Mauritius route is probably going to be the best route and you can just wait and see if there is a special.
Only cheaper way is via KL where you can fly KUL-MRU for $470 but you would only probably do that if you want a stopover on the way. A flight to KUL with AirAsia is $239 at the moment or Pricebeat Scoot with Jetstar for $180 to Singapore and travel on to KL from there.
Thank you.
I go to a do that I didn't want to go to and…
I see that you still have two, recent, active, threads..
Briefest possible message sent, pointing in the direction of the one above it - ^
Did I really need to remind you? Answer to that is: No.
Incidentally, Scrooge's summary was both accurate and succinct. With or without Miss T's help.
(He may have relatively little influence on her since her departure from OzBargain. She clearly now hates bargains. How many 8 packs of Eneloops has she paid 50 bucks for, since leaving? Ok, probably none, but still…)
Btw, I'm sure that she doesn't hate you, or Wiki. If she did at any point, I'm sure that she has moved beyond that, by now.
Personally, I hate your guts and remain horribly affronted that didn't you use last year's birthday present as your new profile pic.
That picture of Wiki and I reminds me of our wedding day: we looked so young, so stunning, so in love while we waltzed away to feels like home to me . Happy memories :) So thank you, Tas. I might use it as my profile pic
Who re-gifts a bloody instagram search? You two - that's who.
I just know it. :(
Please God let there be Banthas on Mauritius.
Snakes on the plane, at the very least.
^ Turnip approved..? :)
I wonder who negged you…
Me no know, Jar Jar Binks.
Mods know, but I don't think that I will trouble them with it…
P.S. Do beware The Axe-Wielding Mumma-Mod, in future. No place to hide if you are foolish enough to engage with GC, yourself, again. A true hiding to nothing + further to M-M's horror movie franchise Coming Soon, if so.

By the by, I had a wonderful night. I got to have a Private message chat with one of my ozbargain idols. Turns out he's a top bloke (which I kind of already knew) and that he peppers his sentences with smileys , just like me :)
Also, my favorite mod is back! The Ham is back! YES! :)
In other news, I'm going on 13 weeks LSL on full pay, then a 12 months leave without pay and we've signed a lease agreement with option to purchase with the family currently staying in property #2. So if we do come back to Oz, we'll have a house and I'll have a job. If we don't come back, my current tenant buys property #2 and the money gets wired to our account in Mauritius.
Now, if only I could get genuinely excited about moving to Paradise Island…:(
@Jar Jar Binks: TA, just as a guess. Not GC, just as a certainty. I hope that you did indeed reread the PM the one above up from your reply. Simple and straightforward advice in the circumstance.
I wasn't aware that 'The Ham' had gone anywhere? Axe Man (maybe preferred to 'Mumma Mod'?) certainly made the right decision last night, if that's what you're referring to. You were silly.
Your excitable nature and general nervous-energy will build some excitement for you as your departure date draws near. Guaranteed :)
@Tas :)
Edit:I didn't mind the thread being closed and I'm genuinely fond of Ham. He has the patience of a saint.
Air Mauritius has direct flights from PER to MRU on Sundays and Wednesdays. Price is coming up as $850 per adult and $640 per child.

And maybe you can use up some frequent flyer points to get to PER from MEL on your way out of the country?
